CCP Games has just launched its newest update for EVE: Valkyrie. This new update was showcased at this year’s PlayStation Experience during an official livestream hosted by the game’s Lead Designer, Andrew Willans. A video highlighting the content in the Gatecrash update can be found below.

Set in the EVE Universe, EVE: Valkyrie features virtual reality space combat that draws players into the game’s world with beautiful visuals and intense combat. Gatecrash is the third update that has been release for EVE: Valkyrie since the game was released earlier this year. CCP Games is currently working on more content that will be free to all players who own the game.

The highlight of the Gatecrash update is the addition of game’s newest multiplayer map, Gateway along with the new pilot customization system which allows players to personalize the look of their pilots using a variety of new helmets and suit designs that can be bought using the game’s in-game currency.

The update also adds PlayStation 4 Pro support to the game. PS4 Pro owner can expect to see an increase in resolution and particle effects, dynamic shadows, and improved loading times. As future updates are release, more enhancements will be added to the game. EVE: Valkyrie’s Gatecrash update is now available on Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, and HTC Vive.
