Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will lead into Kingdom Hearts III, and we finally know a bit more about FCP.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue would be more aptly named “Prologue to the Final Chapter,” as it serves that purpose for Kingdom Hearts III, which promises to complete Xehanort’s Dark Seeker Saga. The latest trailer for the game, which also celebrates 15 years of Kingdom Hearts, features “Simple And Clean (Ray Of Hope MIX)”, a poppy, dance-y remix of the series’ theme.
FCP brings Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD to the PS4, and includes new chapters Kingdom Hearts χ [chi] Back Cover and Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A fragmentary passage –. The trailer features scenes from the three games included in FCP, intertwining the characters from all the subplots to form the full story that leads into the final game– both of those that fought before main-series protagonist Sora, like Aqua, and those who fought alongside him against the Heartless and Xehanort.
