In order to bring the best possible multiplayer experience to Watch Dogs 2, Ubisoft says, DLC is going to have its release schedule changed.

Following the latest title (i.e. bug-fix) update, Ubisoft explained in a release that the update was “an important step towards stabilizing Watch Dogs 2’s seamless multiplayer functionality, and other core online features, before releasing any new multiplayer content.”

“Since these updates required additional development resources,” the release continues, “we’ve made the decision to adjust our release schedule for that new content.”

The next DLC is the T-Bone Content Bundle, releasing December 22nd on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One / PC on December 24th. The Bundle includes the attire, “modified school bus complete with bulldozer blade for creating extra chaos” of Raymond Kenney, the man whose moniker is T-Bone. With this comes the Mayhem co-op challenge, and a new, advanced enemy variant, the Grenadier.

Before that, however, comes the “T-Bone Chaos Event”, starting December 19th. For four weeks, there will be a weekly challenge which has prizes of in-game currency and unique loot “like new car skins or a new bag for Marcus.”

With any luck, this points toward a more player-conscious update stream from Ubisoft. Watch Dogs 2 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC now.
