While it started with one of the biggest launches in gaming history, Pokemon Go has certainly slowed down a bit since it was released last year. This, however, does not mean it is out for the count by any means. Developers have plans to release more of our favorite fighting monsters and features that should be fun for everyone. In the meantime, it is important to upkeep any bugs that may pop up, so that the experience is always smooth as silk.

Updates for both the iOS and Android versions of Pokemon Go are being released. Here are the patch notes listed on the official website:

  • Updated Apple Watch to display Eggs obtained from PokéStops
  • Changed distance tracking to better account for GPS drift
  • Minor text fixes

While fixing text is always helpful, you can see that those with an Apple Watch will now have a better setup when collecting eggs. At the same time, the distance tracking will be better for everyone, now that they are applying the GPS drift into consideration for the algorithm.

The Pokemon franchise is as big as ever with the release of Sun and Moon, and the continued support of Pokemon Go on mobile. It’s the perfect time to be the best trainer you can be.
