The much anticipated Heroes of the Dorm 2017 season is almost upon us. Tournament hopefuls can now register their Heroes of the Storm teams.

Blizzard and Tespa have been running the Heroes of the Dorm tournament since 2015. The tournament started off rather small, as a way to help students pay for college, but it has blossomed into a large and extravagant event with ever larger prizes. The 2017 tournament is coming up fast and Blizzard has recently announced that team registration is open on the official Heroes of the Storm Twitter account.

Registration for the Heroes of the Dorm tournament is available to current full-time and part-time students at universities in the United States and Canada. Every team will need to participate in qualifying rounds before it is placed in an elimination brackets. Prizes for the tournament include $40 Battle.net cards, custom gaming PCs, and up to $75,000 for tuition.

Heroes of the Storm is a critically acclaimed multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA). The game sets itself apart by giving players an ever-growing roster of iconic characters from Blizzard Entertainment’s various games, as well as maps that go beyond the standard three lane setup and include various unique objectives and tasks not seen in other MOBAs.

The Heroes of the Dorm registration is open until February 11th. The preliminary matches are scheduled to begin February 15th.
