There are millions of Xbox owners who stay loyal and continue their Xbox Live Gold membership all year round, playing some of the best new games for their consoles online. Microsoft likes to reward these devoted fans with a small set of free games each month. This, of course, is the Games with Gold feature. With February around the corner, this list will help celebrate Valentine’s Day, as well as unleash your inner Jedi.
On the Xbox One, we have Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime and Project Cars Digital Edition. Both are featured as free downloads for a limited time. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime being from February 1st to the 28th and the latter being from February 16th to March 16th.
For the Xbox 360, our two featured titles are Monkey Island 2: Special Edition and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Whether your dreams have always been to go on an adventure on the high seas, or in a galaxy far, far away, there is something here for you. Star Wars will be a free download from February 1st to the 15th, while Monkey Island will be from February 16th to the 28th.
With the help of backward compatibility, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Monkey Island 2: Special Edition will both be available on the Xbox One as well. Looks like this February will be a great time to be a loyal Xbox fan.
