While many fans of Bioware are looking forward to the close release of Mass Effect: Andromeda, there are others who want to see the developers move ahead and create something completely new. Recently, we learned that this dream is becoming a reality as Bioware announced that they are working on a brand new IP. We do not know much about this new title as of now, but the team is very excited about it and can’t wait to share more.
Aaryn Flynn of Bioware posted a note about the new IP in the company’s blog. While they could not share any great details, Flynn stated that the title will bring players together in exciting new ways. “In 2012, we began crafting a new universe full of new characters, stories, and gameplay. Our ambition is simple: Draw upon 20+ years of development knowledge and lessons to create something fun and new for you to enjoy with your friends.”
It seems that Bioware is really pushing the idea of playing with friends, so it is reasonable to assume it as an online multiplayer game. Possibly something along the lines of Destiny. Hopefully, it is something new, refreshing, and incomparable to much else in the gaming world. We can’t wait to learn more.
