The Deus Ex series has been around longer than most people realize, but it was really the addition of Square Enix that helped the series return to the mainstream with Human Revolution. Since then, there are have been both mobile and console sequels, continuing its legacy. With a new hiatus coming to the Deus Ex franchise, it is hard to say where it will go from here. Luckily, Eidos  is still putting out some content for devoted fans.

Deus Ex: Breach and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – Breach are receiving a brand new free update with lots of new toys and missions to accomplish. Here is the list given by Eidos.

  • New Networks
    • Ghost Networks – Randomly generated server networks are made available each day. Players can complete them for extra rewards.
  • New Corporate Server
    • Picus – Scattered throughout the Palisade Networks are 11 all-new Picus Corporation server maps for players to master.
  • New Darknet Files
    • A new conspiracy, targeting Picus, is waiting to be solved.
  • New Weapons and items

It should be noted that the new Darknet Files can only be accessed when all previous cases have been solved. For more on Deus Ex’s latest content, keep checking back right here on Gamespresso.

Breach is not very fun. Deus ex is at it’s best when it comes to story and character interaction.

I pushed through several hours of Breach when it first released. And definitely, even my favorite parts of that were the hacker interactions and the Darknet files (character and story).

that seriously is the only reason why I would play it. At that point I’ll just wiki the hacker story.
