Yooka-Laylee, spiritual successor to many of our favorite 3D platformers is coming April 11th, and it was about time we got a look at the second world of the game. Glitterglaze Glacier is just around the corner and Playtonic Games is taking a chance to show off the beautiful second zone.
Glitterglaze Glacier is a winter wonderland full of cool blue hues and all new stuff to explore. The ice and snow isn’t too great for Yooka, so you’ll need to work out some new powers and a Bulldozer transformation to make your way through this perilous new area.
The Glacier is cold, slippery, and generally a beautiful but deadly place to be, and cold-blooded Yooka needs some help. You’ll need to cover yourself in honey to go up some of the steeper ice hills without falling, and turn yourself into a walking torch to warm up some of the colder areas. There are even lightning bugs in the dark caverns that’ll help you light your way.
Glitterglaze Glacier is the second world coming to Yooka-Laylee, out of a planned 5. Yooka-Laylee comes out April 11th for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch. You can preorder now through the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, Steam and GOG.
