EVE: Valkyrie gets an awesome new trailer

Though EVE: Valkyrie has been a promising demo for VR for a long time now, nothing quite like this has ever been shown. Focusing on what appears to be a single-player mission, radically different than the multiplayer portions shown off at conventions the past few years, you can hear as the player receives orders from the game’s primary protagonist Ran Kavik, leader of the Valkyrie pilots, voiced by none other than Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff. Things seem calm at first, but go downhill fast.

So far EVE: Valkyrie has been announced for PC with Oculus Rift and PS4 with Project Morpheus. As no release date has been announced for either piece of hardware, it’s probably safe to say EVE: Valkyrie is still a ways off.

What do you think of the intense dogfighting action? Excited to be able to blow up some spaceships with the voice of Starbuck herself in your ear? Let us know in the comments.
