New Mario Kart 8 DLC details confirmed

Nintendo has detailed all of what can be expected when Mario Kart 8's new downloadable content is available for purchase next Thursday, April 23.The DLC was shown to feature Animal Crossing, but also comes with eight tracks (four new; four retro), three new characters, and four new vehicles.

The DLC was shown to feature Animal Crossing, but also comes with eight tracks (four new; four retro), three new characters, and four new vehicles.

The new Animal Crossing track was shown at the latest Nintendo Direct to cycle through the four seasons as it is played through various times. Players can pick up the DLC for $7.

The same day will see the release of a new update for the game, adding the super-fast 200 CC for all courses, making this mode faster than the series has ever been. Also included will be new suits for characters compatible with the following amiibo: Wario, PAC-MAN, Olimar, Bowser, Sonic, Toad, Villager, Rosalina and Mega Man.
