Everyone who has an empty Steam wallet is now in luck! The new Steam refund policy states that you can get your money back after making a purchase. “You can request a refund for nearly any purchase on Steam—for any reason.”

This is great if you didn’t like the game or if you bought it by mistake. You could be like me and plan on getting a refund for games you can’t play because PC doesn’t meet the hardware requirements.

This update applies to both games and DLC, as well as in-game purchases, pre-purchases, bundles, and even funds added to your Steam Wallet!

Please note that the refund request must be made within two weeks of the original purchase, and the content you wish to refund must have less than two hours of playtime. If you happen to not meet those conditions, it’s not necessarily the end of the world: “You can ask for a refund anyway and we’ll take a look,” Valve stated.

How do you feel about this? Are you ready to get a refund on a bunch of barely touched games?
