Yoichi Wada is no longer at Square Enix

Right off the heels of this year's E3 event we have received news that Yoichi Wada has left Square Enix.One time Square Enix boss Yoichi Wada has left the company. The announcement was made on Facebook, where it was mentioned that Wada spearheaded overseas expansion, growth across Asia, free-to-play initiatives, and cloud-based gaming. He was thanked for the contibutions that he made at the company.

One time Square Enix boss Yoichi Wada has left the company. The announcement was made on Facebook, where it was mentioned that Wada spearheaded overseas expansion, growth across Asia, free-to-play initiatives, and cloud-based gaming. He was thanked for the contibutions that he made at the company.

Wada had stepped down as president of Square Enix in 2013 following a disastrous year for the company. He remained on as chair of Square Enix of Tokyo until June 16th, 2015. Wada will continue his work as president of cloud-gaming company Shinra Technologies.
