Microsoft have released a new video on Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.  The behind the scenes video looks at developer, The Coalitions, experiences and attempts at remastering the Xbox 360 classic for the Xbox One.

In the video we see Rod Fergusson, studio head at The Coalition, and other members of the team talking about the power of the Xbox One compared to the Xbox 360.  He talks about the improved visuals that the game will now boast, as well as the new level of realism that the game is bringing to Gears of War.

They go into detail about certain scenes that they’ve been paying special attention to, along with the meticulous details such as skin sliding over bone, and how they’ve been working with that.

The video shows a few screenshots and clips from some of the remastered scenes, as well as storyboard art, and it’s looking fantastic so far.  Here’s hoping the whole game fully utilizes the power of the Xbox One.
