Microsoft comments on the Xbox One mini rumour

It was recently reported on a Chinese blog Microsoft would soon be releasing a scaled down Xbox One, it was to be a third of the size of the current system, drop blu-ray support and be much more quiet.

Now Phil Spencer, the Head of Xbox, has responded to a question regarding the rumour on twitter by saying – “Not real”.

So there you have it, it was pretty far fetched to begin with – though slimmed down consoles are nothing new, it’s probably a little early for that just yet. It’s very likely we’ll some sort of Xbox One mini at some point though.
