More positive news has recently been unearthed, spotted on Japanese websites, an advert is stating the game has shipped over three million copies already. Though the amount of games shipped isn’t the same as amount of games sold, it is a good indicator of how well the launch has gone. On a related note, it’s the same amount as MGS 4: Guns of The Patriots.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is out now for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
