Chinese release of World of Warships to be sponsored by Korean pop group

With the Chinese version of World of Warships entering non-wipe Beta testing on October 29, publisher Kong Zhong has announced that South Korean girl group T-ara will be acting as "ambassadors" for the game.T-ara will be featured in various advertisements and promotional materials for the game. In addition, the game will feature a Chinese music video performed by the group.

World of Warships is developed by Wargaming, who is known primarily for World of Tanks. In World of Warships the player controls a World War Two era warship and works together with a team of randomly matched players to sink the opponent’s ships. The game entered open beta in North America this July.
