NetherRealm Studios may be dropping Mortal Kombat X support on PC

Well, unfortunately previous news on the new netcode for Mortal Kombat X may very well be incorrect. There have been several inklings from various sources that suggest that NetherRealm Studios will no longer support the Mortal Kombat X PC port. The netcode announcement made no mention about reaching the PC port and just recently, the community manager of NetherRealm Studios, Tyler Landsdown, has confirmed that the Mortal Kombat XL and Kombat Pack 2 DLC will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version only. While this may still be speculation, the confirmation of the complete pack as well as the second DLC pack not making the jump makes the suggestion likely. The PC port of Mortal Kombat X had received the first Kombat Pack which included Jason, Predator, Tremor and Tanya. For the game to not receive the next pack is damning to say the least. Furthermore, the PC release for the game suffered badly when it came to the online component. Not having the GGPO netcode applied to the PC version will seal its fate as a disappointing port.
