Charge a controller in 60 seconds with the PDP Super Charger

PDP has unveiled a new charger at CES 2016 that will charge a video game controller in less than 60 seconds. Titled the "Super Charger" the unit will have an LED display that shows the charging process.The charger will work with the Xbox One controller, but there is not official word yet on if a PlayStation 4 or Wii U version is on the way.

PDP has unveiled a new charger at CES 2016 that will charge a video game controller in less than 60 seconds. Titled the “Super Charger” the unit will have an LED display that shows the charging process.

The charger will work with the Xbox One controller, but there is not official word yet on if a PlayStation 4 or Wii U version is on the way.

The PDP Super Charger is currently on display in PDP’s booth in the North Hall, #5509, as well as in the CES Innovations area in the Sands Expo Hall.

“The Super Charger’s unique ability to recharge a controller in just seconds reduces interruption in game play sessions, “Tom Roberts, Chief Technology Officer of PDP said, “A full recharge during a quick break provides convenience to all gamers.”
