Now, while this might sound a tad bit boring, prehistoric dung beetles are no laughing matter. You can’t be a few inches long when rolling around dung from a T. Rex. These dung beetles come up to your waist line and gather in swarms of dozens. As well, the beetle is able to consume poop and turn it into oil that can power generators and fertilize crops.

As well, another creature called the Dimerodon has entered the world. Basically, they’re like a dog version of a Spinosaurus, so that can’t be half bad.

Another nifty new feature has added alcohol to the game, allowing your character to craft beer kegs “for making tasty brew, with various status enhancing effects.” There’s even a ‘hangover’ effect for when you drink too much.

Additionally, Studio Wildcard has announced a mod contest that has a $63,000 prize pools. There’s three categories: mods, maps, and total conversions. 15 prizes will be handed out, with entries having to be submitted before March 15th. The winners will be announced on April 15th.
