Star Wars: The Force Awakens baton Stormtrooper gets a name and backstory
Disney has revealed more information regarding the baton wielding Stormtrooper who squares off against Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.His official name is FN-2199, but his friends call him "Nines" and he's part of the First Order's Riot Squad which is sent into areas to quell uprisings. The baton Nines uses in the film is called a "Z6 baton" and is able to hold its own going up against a lightsaber.

If fans wondered why Nines was so angry when he faced off against Finn, both men served on the same squad together before Finn left the First Order.
