Indie title Rocket League hits $70m in sales

Rocket League, winner of D.I.C.E. Sprite Award, Outstanding Achievement in Online Gaming and Sports Game of the Year has reached $70m in sales, selling nearly 4 million copies on PlayStation 4 and PC according to Jeremy Dunham, marketing VP for Psyonix.The figure was revealed during a Kinda Funny Twitch stream, where Dunham stated the figures factor in revenue from DLC, but do not include the recently released Xbox One version of the came, or the massive amount of downloads that occurred when the game from free with PlayStation Plus.

In other news for the 11 million strong Rocket League community, a DLC pack is soon to be released, including the Batmobile from upcoming blockbuster Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Rocket League is available for PlayStation 4, PC and most recently, Xbox One.
