Adding further to the competitive online component of Metal Gear Sold V, Konami has announced and detailed the DLC and free content coming to the game next month.

A collective DLC campaign called ‘Cloaked in Silence,’ the DLC contains three maps, adds Quiet as a playable character, and introduces “Appeal Actions” (emotes) to the game.

While USD prices have yet to be announced, the ‘Cloaked in Silence’ expansion pack (the three maps and Quiet) is priced at €3.99 (~$4.51). Then there will also be a Basic Appeal Pack, Battle Appeal Pack, Dance Appeal Pack, and Hero Appeal Pack, priced at €1.99 (~$2.25).

As for what players can expect from the three new maps:

Quiet herself is also bringing something a bit different to the game. “Quiet’s movement speed is extremely fast and allows for unique jumping abilities over high steps where a player would usually need a ladder. She can also temporarily cloak her visibility while sprinting to activate a boost in movement speed.”

March will also see the release of a free update for Metal Gear Online, introducing a new game mode called Sabotage. “Attackers must destroy or fulton an enemy missile before the round expires; but to access the missile, attackers must first hack into the Terminals to deactivate the Electromagnetic (EM) Barrier that is protecting it. Once the Terminals are hacked and the EM Barrier is deactivated, defenders can choose to reactivate the Barrier or protect the Missile.”
