Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta officially announced

Gamespresso Journalism

After yesterday’s leak, Sony has confirmed that everyone will have the chance to participate in Uncharted 4’s multiplayer stress test this weekend.

From March 4th-6th, any player with an internet connection can participate in the beta, regardless of whether they played Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection or are a PlayStation Plus subscriber.

“The goal is to get as many people as possible playing in the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer mode to test our networking, our matchmaking, and more,” the announcement reads on the PlayStation Blog.

The stress test doesn’t begin until March 4th at 9:00 a.m. PST, but is available to be preloaded on your PlayStation 4 now. The download weighs in at about 7.6 GB.

“Please understand that this is strictly a stress test and by no means represents what the final multiplayer experience is going to be — we still have a lot to share between this stress test and launch,” the post says.
