Beta content for Pokemon Go has been datamined, but silenced in order to keep leakers safe

Fortunately, due to that, many Pokemon fans on Reddit have come together to compile a hefty list of features that may be available in Pokemon Go. Pokemon Go became available for many beta testers in Japan a few days ago and some of the features found during the datamining include:151 Pokemon data files - Representing the first Generation of Pokemon

Fortunately, due to that, many Pokemon fans on Reddit have come together to compile a hefty list of features that may be available in Pokemon Go. Pokemon Go became available for many beta testers in Japan a few days ago and some of the features found during the datamining include:
- 151 Pokemon data files – Representing the first Generation of Pokemon
- File types for all current existing Pokemon ‘types’ including the newest Fairy type
- 7 different natures that are named differently from the mainline games ‘Stoic, Guardian, Assassin, Raider, Protector, Sentry, and Champion’.
- Pokemon evolution via stones exist, however, shards of each evolution stone must be found in order to form a proper stone
- 52 Trainer customization features
- Joinable factions ‘Red, Blue and Yellow’
- Gym Battles
- 6 categories of items ‘Pokeball, food, medicine, boost, utilities and camera’, these seem to contribute to In-app Purchases
Niantic is biting down on these leakers, one such leaker was anonymously banned outright for screenshots. Due to this, many pictures with watermarks on them are being deleted in order to keep leakers protected.
Pokemon Go is the mobile game that pulls Pokemon into the real world. It is currently in a beta phase and set for a global release later in the year.
