New Final Fantasy XV ‘Omen’ trailer, online co-op mode announced

Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy XV has officially gone gold and have released a cinematic trailer, titled "Omen," to celebrate the achievement. Also, a new online co-op mode was announced for the game during this year's Paris Games Week.The co-op expansion pack called Comrades features battles that will allow up to four players to take control of Noctis, Gladio, Prompto and Ignis as group. Comrades is part of the game's season pass and will follow the release of the individual character episodes.

The co-op expansion pack called Comrades features battles that will allow up to four players to take control of Noctis, Gladio, Prompto and Ignis as group. Comrades is part of the game’s season pass and will follow the release of the individual character episodes.

The character episodes let players assumed the role of  a Noctis’ comrades. The episodes will contain unseen areas with new monsters, as well as weapons and items that can be used later in the main game. Episode Gladiolus is the first character adventure to arrive,  followed by Episode Ignis and Episode Prompto. The season pass for the game is priced at $24.99 and will include six DLC packs total. The other two pieces of DLC are a weapons pack, a holiday pack.

Final Fantasy XV will be released on November 29 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
