Metro Redux Bundle, Resident Evil 4, Darksiders II, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, and SUPERHOT are among the most well-received games in this week’s Deals with Gold. Metro Redux Bundle is a remake of Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light. Both games have players explore and shoot through the dark tunnels of the Moscow Metro and the irradiated surface of a post-apocalyptic world.
Darksiders II also takes place after the apocalypse, except players control Death of the Four Horsemen. Darksiders II is similar to the original Darksiders in that it meshes the dungeon exploration of The Legend of Zelda with the fast-paced combat of Devil May Cry. Meanwhile, Super Street Figher IV Arcade Edition is a retooling of the original Street Fighter IV that adds balance changes as well as new characters.
Resident Evil 4 is widely regarded as one of the best games in the Resident Evil franchise. Players control Leon S. Kennedy as he shoots everything in their collective faces, from mind-controlled villagers to arguably the scariest Resident Evil monster ever, as he searches for the president’s daughter. And finally, SUPERHOT is a fusion between an FPS and a puzzle game. Players have to figure out how to survive seemingly insurmountable odds in a world where time only moves when they move.
