PS Now is a subscription service that allows gamers to stream games on a PlayStation 4 or PC. Unlike services like Steam or other digital platforms, gamers do not have to download PS Now games onto their hard drives. PS Now gives players access to a fairly large and ever-growing library of games, including PlayStation exclusives such as Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, The Last of Us, and numerous games in the God of War, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, and Sly Cooper franchises. As a streaming service, gamers need constant internet access, and can rent games a la carte or pay a flat subscription for unlimited access to the substantial portion of the streaming library. Additionally, people who use PS Now on the PC have to buy a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller with USB mini cable, a DUALSHOCK 4 USB wireless adaptor, or both.
Unlike most Rockstar games, Red Dead Redemption never received a PC release, but PC and PS4 owners can finally try the game next week. Following a free seven-day trial, a PS Now subscription runs roughly $20 a month.
