Destiny raises one million in Nepal relief effort
Bungie has just announced that the fundraiser for Nepal relief efforts have raised over $1m. Bungie started the fundraiser back in April when a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the region. Bungie has donated 100% of the profits to the relief fund. Players could buy t-shirts, as well as shaders and emblems for their Destiny characters.In addition to the million raised by players, Activision has also donated $50,000 and the partners are now looking for ways to put that money to where it's needed most in Nepal.
