Star Wars within Disney Infinity 3.0

If there is anyone in Gamespresso who truly loves the Disney Infinity game and all it has encompassed it is me. While I will admit that Disney Infinity 2.0 was a little off the ball in all honesty, so far it appears that Disney Infinity 3.0 is going to see a true return to form and really give us some fun new sets to play with and build with. While the Marvel themed playsets from 2.0 that were boring and rather repetitive did nothing to capture my attention or really interest me it would seem that the new Star Wars sets for Disney Infinity 3.0 are really going to go all out!

When they first announced the very Star Wars heavy Disney Infinity 3.0 I was worried that it was going to be just as watered down and dull as the gameplay for 2.0 was, but so far I have been proven completely wrong and overall I have been very impressed with what has come out thus far!

The first of the 3 Star Wars playsets that will be coming out will be Rise Against the Empire made by Studio Gobo and Twilight of the Republic will be done by Ninja Theory. A third Star Wars playset with an unknown title has been announced based on The Force Awakens. The new playsets and gameplay all make Disney Infinity 3.0 seem like a lot of fun. The vehicles will have more weight and there will be a lot more racing in the game thanks to the studio Sumo Digital which has been hard at work to make the vehicles in the game more enjoyable overall.

The game looks like a lot of fun even despite the Inside Out playset looking a little dull which is disappointing considering that film was one of Pixar’s best ideas to date. I’m very excited to get more gameplay and information about the Star Wars playsets for Disney Infinity 3.0!
