About a day ago the team over at Re-Logic set up a lot of teasers with key figureheads and Terraria players in the community playing streams and uploading 1.3 related videos on YouTube. All it did was whet the fanbase’s appetite for the intense update. This update is as heavily anticipated as the 1.2 update that signified Redigit’s return to Terraria. Terraria 1.3 marks the end of Red’s involvement with the game and handing it off to another group of people who worked closely on the 1.3 update.

The 1.3 update’s staggering amount of additions add more than 800 new items, a change to the difficulty modes, new bosses, NPC mechanic changes, achievements and a plethora more. Here’s where you can see the changelog. And for those who’d just like to see all the changes here they are:

Features and Mechanics:

Expert Mode:

Events:

Crafting:

Miscellaneous:

Items:

Music:

Atmosphere:

Bug Fixes:

And so much much more.

I’m already digging the changes; and am going nuts about the small changes that I’ve never seen before. There are a lot to do here and starting fresh again is the best way for new and veteran players to experience the full extent all the changes. Happy playing folks!
