Mario Golf and VS Excitebike available now on Wii U Virtual Console

Nintendo has updated the Virtual Console again with some more classic games for your nostalgic fix.First up this week is the Nintendo 64 version of Mario Golf, originally released in Japan and the United States back in 1999. This entry in the series sports similar graphics to Mario 64 and has colorful courses, simple controls, and local multiplayer. It comes with 10 modes of play, six different 18-hole courses, and will cost $9.99 on the eShop.

Next up is the Famicom game VS Excitebike, a game that was previously unreleased in the U.S. This game originally released in Japan in 1988, 4 years after its arcade counterpart. According the folks over at Dualshockers, the “remake featured a two player mode, remixed soundtrack, the ability to save tracks, and an ‘Original Excite’ mode based on the original with a changed color palette.” The game costs $4.99 on the eShop.
