Developer Warner Bros. has had quite the 2015.

Their parent company, Time Warner, revealed that Q3, which ended September 30th for WB, saw strong game sales thanks to the releases of games such as Mad Max and their first foray into the toys-to-life genre, Lego Dimensions.

Lego Dimensions wasn’t released until late September, but with the base game hitting $100 and the high number of level packs available to expand the game, ranging in price from $15-$30, clearly had a large impact on revenue for the company.

Revenue for the quarter increased 15 percent to $3.2 billion and operating income increased 62 percent to $385 million.

Other contributions to the surge, cited as Time Warner as “carryover revenues” included continued sales from games released earlier in the year such as Batman: Arkham Knight and Mortal Kombat X, the latter of which helped WB become the top United States video game publisher for the first nine months of 2015 according to Time Warner. Mortal Kombat X was listed as the top game overall during the period after its release.
