Minecraft: Story Mode hits the Wii U later this week

Fans of Nintendo haven't had a chance to experience Telltale Games and the narrative driven story that the company has been known to produce, but those fans will finally get a chance to when Minecraft: Story Mode hits the Nintendo eShop later this week.The first episode, The Order of the Stone, will be available for purchase this Thursday for $4.99. There is no word yet on when the other four episodes will launch, but the rest of the episodes could be purchased with a season pass retailing for $19.99.

This version of Minecraft for the Wii U console will feature off-TV play which means players can play Story Mode on either their TV or Nintendo gamepad. Players will also be able to use the gamepad’s touchscreen to control the game.
