Lego City Undercover is coming to all platforms, including the Switch
The Wii U exclusive Lego City Undercover is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2017.First released in 2013, Lego City Undercover is unlike most other Lego games in that it isn't based on an existing license like Batman, Marvel, Star Wars, or any of the other properties that have been used in Lego games. Instead, the game is based on the Lego City line of Lego playsets. It is a little like a family friendly take on a Grand Theft Auto game, with an open world filled with vehicles to drive, where you stop crimes instead of committing them.

Although the game was originally published by Nintendo, WB Games announced on Twitter that they will be handling the release to other platforms.

Lego themselves have confirmed in a reply to a tweet that the game will be a re-release of the existing Wii U version. There will have to be some changes, however, in order for the game to appear on other platforms, as the Wii U version made use of the GamePad and also included a lot of Nintendo IP, such as Mario warp pipes. It is unclear if these will be left in for the Nintendo Switch version, or if all versions of the re-release will be identical.
