Disney Infinity fans will be rejoicing after the news that Boba Fett, the planet’s favourite intergalactic bounty hunter, will be coming to Disney Infinity 3.0 for the Holidays.
PlayStation users will get their hands on the figure a month earlier due to a timed-exclusive Special Edition acquired by Sony, releasing alongside the standard Starter Pack edition. The Special Edition will include early-access to the Rise Against the Empire play-set which includes characters from the classic trilogy of movies such as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, as well as Boba Fett.
However, those fans not lucky enough to have a PlayStation console won’t have to wait very long to get their hands on the Mandalorian warrior, thanks to a stand-alone version of the figure and play-set marked for release in January 2016. That being said, if you really can’t wait till January to play as Boba, Disney Interactive stated this week that the figure supplemented in the PS exclusive packs will be platform agnostic, working on any console. The only downside being you would have to buy the entire pack for just one figure.
Disney Infinity 3.0 will be releasing on all consoles for Holiday 2015.
