The very popular disease simulation game Plague Inc: Evolved will soon arrive on PlayStation 4. Created originally by Ndemic Creations for mobile devices and PC, Plague Inc made the jump to the Xbox One with new features.
“The game has already been a massive success when it infected Steam – critics and fans alike have given the game high praise.” says James Vaughan, the game’s creator. “I’m particularly proud of how we’ve managed to make a strategy game work well on a console, and I’m very pleased to have this finally hitting PS4. It’s easily been one of the most requested things in the last few years at Ndemic and I couldn’t be more excited to get it out there!”
The game mixes high stakes strategy gameplay with a “realistic simulation” and involves players nurturing their disease from patient zero until that last human on earth dies. It’s not all smooth sailing however as the human race won’t go down without a fight. You must be prepared to evolve your virus and destroy research to keep the bodies falling.
Plague Inc: Evolved features 10 different disease types such as fungus, bacteria and virus, and 20 unique scenarios such as the Black Plague. Other features to Plague Inc is the use of real-world data and events, genetic modification and more.
Plague Inc: Evolved will be available on PS4 May 31st.
