Final Fantasy IV: The After Years first released in Japan for mobile in 2008. Since then, it has been released on the PlayStation Portable, iOS, Android, and Wii. Now, it has been announced that the title will be coming to Steam soon.
Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy IV: The After Years will arrive on Steam on May 12. Pre-orders for the game will come with a 10% discount off of the original $16 price tag. The game will receive a full 3D makeover, and will feature a new opening movie. The PC version of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years will also include Steam achievements and Steam Trading Cards.
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years takes place nearly two decades after the original Final Fantasy IV. The game features classic characters from the original, as well as brand new characters. The game has ten playable chapters for gamers to play through, and features Square Enix’s iconic Active Time Battle system.
