Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is the revamped version of the last-gen title. Today, we got footage of one of the new playable characters in the upcoming special edition: Vergil.

Players will be able to play as Dante’s twin brother and fan favorite Vergil in the Special Edition of Devil May Cry 4. This will be the third time in the Devil May Cry series that Vergil will be playable, with the first being in the Special Edition of Devil May Cry 3, and as a DLC character in the reboot DmC. The new gameplay footage of Vergil can be seen below. In it, we get to see Vergil’s choice of weapons, as well as some of the combos that players will be able to pull off. The video was recorded using the game’s “Turbo Mode”, which speeds up the game’s speed by 20%.

Vergil is one of three characters being added to Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition. The other two are Trish from Devil May Cry, and Lady from Devil May Cry 3. This is the first time that Trish will be playable since Devil May Cry 2, and Lady’s playable debut.

Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition will release later this year. The title will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
