The votes are in and your winner of the Madden 16 cover is Odell Beckham Jr. It was announced just moments ago on the special edition of Sportscenter. Going up against mammoth Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, the young wide receiver won out in the votes %53 to %47. It was a close race, but Odell Beckham Jr. won out in the end. Let’s hope for his sake that the infamous Madden Curse is just a myth.

After missing the first 4 games of the season, Odell Beckham Jr. had a total of 91 receptions with 1,305 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. After this performance, Odell Beckham Jr. now holds a number of rookie season records including most games with 10 or more receptions, most games with over 125 yards, and highest average receivi yards per game with 108.8.

With the victory over Gronkowski, Odell now also has the record for youngest player to don the Madden cover at the age of 22.
