Until now, Uncharted 4 has carried a single subtitle: A Thief’s End. However, the Japanese PlayStation website revealed that its country will see a different secondary line of text when the game is released.
“Uncharted 4: The Pirate King and the Last Treasure” is what will be displayed on the box art when it’s released sometime next year.
The first subtitle featured in the upcoming game from Naughty Dog caused many people to assume this would be the final game of the Uncharted series and for Nathan Drake. This new Japanese subtitle seems to make that assumption even more possible for fans of the PlayStation action series.
Uncharted 4 is a highly anticipated game. It once was one of the hottest games of 2015, though it recently decided to become one of the most anticipated games of 2016 after the studio announced the “game is much more ambitious than we originally envisioned.” It is scheduled to come in the first half of next year.
