Microsoft has revealed which games will be available for free download this May. These titles are Zen Studio’s tower defense game Castlestorm: Definite Edition and Pool Nation FX. It should be noted that Pool Nation FX was also available for free download the month of April. These free game downloads are only available to those with Xbox Live Gold on Xbox One.
Don’t have an Xbox One? Well then perhaps you have an Xbox 360. Owners of this console with Xbox Live Gold will be able to download 2K Games’ Mafia II for free until May 15th. After that Codemaster’s F1 2013 will be the free game of the month.
Both Mafia II and F1 2013 received positive reviews upon their initial releases. Zen Studio has also found success as an independent game company. Castlestorm has received positive reviews, but the company is mostly known for their various popular pinball games, such as Marvel Pinball and Star Wars Pinball.
