As part of their E3 Digital Event, Nintendo has announced Metroid Prime Federation Force. Instead of playing as bounty hunter Samus Aran and facing a planet of space pirates, however, you’ll be joining a team for 3v3 mayhem.
Last week Nintendo showed us Blast Ball for the 3DS, which was speculated to look a lot like Metroid. Turns out those speculations were correct. This was the first look at the Blast Ball game in Metroid Prime Federation Force. Besides that, there will be others within the game. Either way 3v3 mechs going head to head sounds like a good time.
While this is not the big new Metroid console game many were hoping for, it’s still good to know the franchise is not forgotten. Check out the first trailer here at Gamespresso. Metroid a prime Federation Force will be released for 3DS in 2016.
