Not only did Guerrilla Games (known for their Killzone franchise) blow our minds with the E3 demonstration of Horizon on PlayStation 4, but Guerrilla Cambridge has just announced what they’re cooking up for the Morpheus, Sony’s soon to be virtual reality peripheral.
RIGS is a first person, competitive, multiplayer action game. Players will find themselves piloting fast paced mechs that are armed to the teeth in an attempt to crush their opposing team. The entire game, from the logo to the gameplay screams “Major League Gaming” (MLG) and that’s exactly what they’re trying to do.
Nothing else is currently known about RIGS. Hopefully some information on the game modes, match sizes, and customization options will surface before too long.
RIGS does not currently have a release date.
