Plants vs. Zombies has been around since 2009, and in 2014 they made the jump to consoles with Garden Warfare(a game similar to Team Fortress 2).
Popcap has posted a trailer to their YouTube channel, urging gamers to check out an announcement at E3 regarding the future of the Plants vs Zombies franchise.
The addition to the Plants vs. Zombies franchise was confirmed back in May by the EA CEO, Andrew Wilson. Whether or not the addition to the franchise will be going back to the roots of the tower defense, or Garden Warfare 2 has yet to be confirmed.
The new Plants vs. Zombies (whether we see Plants vs. Zombies 3 or Garden Warfare 2) will be available for both the PC and Xbox, and is expected to launch in Q1 2016. (Sometime between January 1 – March 31)
