Crypt of the Necrodancer, the rhythm-based roguelike game from Brace Yourself Games, and originally released on PC in April, is dancing its way over to PS4 and Vita.

The news comes via the PlayStation Blog , which reveals that the game will be ported across, but doesn’t announce anything about a date. Crypt of the Necrodancer was an unusual and captivatingly addictive experience when it came out on PC; players and enemies both move in time with the beat, requiring strategic positioning, forethought, and most importantly timing to make it through. Dungeons are procedurally generated, but players could import their own music, if the wonderfully catchy music by Danny Baranowsky wasn’t to your liking.

The PlayStation blog goes on to reveal that there will be a remixed version of the soundtrack included with this release, exclusive to the PS4 and Vita versions of the game, however it’s unclear whether the mp3 import feature will remain intact.

No word on a release date yet, but you can play the PC version right now if this funky foray into dungeons most fowl is something tickles your dancing bone.
