Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, has announced via Twitter that a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be arriving tomorrow, July 7th.
Kojima was vague and will not comment further, but he says that the gameplay shown for MGSV will be a completely new approach to the same mission shown on the E3 floor. Apparently, it will show how the sandbox open-world can allow different approaches in gameplay style.
The Phantom Pain is available September 1st across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC consoles. With so many good games coming out this year, Metal Gear Solid V is another of many contenders for game of the year, and hopefully a great swan song for Kojima, who is set to leave Konami after the game’s release.
