Nintendo is infamous for having games that hold their value. And in most cases, this means both Digital and Physical copies. If you are looking to pick up a used copy of any recent Nintendo games, chances are you won’t be able to find it in stores – or it’ll be discounted by only $5.

That is because Nintendo games are high quality. Whether you like them or not is another story. Nintendo has been receiving a bit of flak for the inability to discount digital games on the eShop, and Satoru Iwata came out and talked about it.

Twitter user Cheesemeister was kind enough to translate the announcement, and Iwata explained that they plan on bringing a benefit to buying digitally this fall with the new Club Nintendo-esque service.

The new loyalty program will include the Wii U and 3DS, while also keeping in mind the NX, PC, and Mobile platforms.
