Chalk up another Warhammer 40,000 game that has been announced this year.
Developers Pixel Toys have announced a new a new Warhammer mobile game is in the works. Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade is being called a “tap-to-shoot” mobile game that is unlike any other mobile shooter on the market. The game is slated for a Fall release for smartphones and tablets. In it, players will take control of an Imperial Knight armored war mech. Players will use a variety of guns to waste away enemies and traverse the land.
“This is not another normal shooter,” Pixel Toys cofounder Wafer said. “This is where Panzer Dragoon meets Walker in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.” So far, this makes four current Warhammer games in the works. It’s safe to say there will be something for everyone.
