Microsoft has teased that Xbox One exclusive, Quantum Break will be getting a release date during its conference at Gamescom next week.
In response to Twitter user Vagelis asking if the game will get a firm release date, Phil Spencer responded “You’ll see on Tuesday. I think you’ll be happy.”
Microsoft’s conference is scheduled for Tuesday, so it’s a safe bet that’s what Phil Spencer is referring to.
Quantum Break, developed by Remedy Entertainment “fuses an intense action game with top-of-the-line live action elements into one revolutionary entertainment adventure.” The live action elements refers to a TV show that is set to provide deeper insight into the game world.
Back in April it was announced Quantum Break was to be pushed back to 2016, instead of being released as planned in 2015 because “with so many Xbox One games launching this year, moving Quantum Break to 2016 extends our incredible portfolio into next year with a monster new IP”.
